Fall Greens Recovery and Fertility Program

After a long growing season, many greens need a balanced fertility program to help them recover from summer weather stress and fall aerification practices.

This four-part program is designed for use in late summer and early fall to replenish essential nutrients, facilitate stress recovery and stimulate growth after an aeration event. These products also contain value-adding humic acid componets to help stimulate soil microbial populations and increase the efficiency of applied nutrients.

Timing of the applications is best determined through the Turf Nutrition Tool (TNT®), in conjunction with any planned cultural events.

Black Gypsum DG®
This first application is all about helping to improve your soil. Black Gypsum DG acts as a flushing agent for soils with high salt levels due to summer drought conditions or effluent water use that also delivers calcium and sulfur.

Application (dry-applied)
3.0-10.0 lbs/1000 ft²

Contec DG® 0-0-12 Mag-Tec™
This step is important to replenish potassium that may have leached due to the Black Gypsum DG application or from heavy irrigation needed throughout the summer.

Application (dry-applied)
3.1-4.2 lbs/1000 ft²

Humic Coated Ammonium Sulfate (HCAS™) SG 20-0-0-23S
Provides readily available nutrition to jump-start aerification recovery during cooler fall nights.

Application (spray-applied)
0.25-2.50 lbs/1000 ft²

Genesis Rx® 5-7-5
Here, you’re helping stressed turf recover from summer weather and fall aeration activities with balanced NPK, micronutrients, and soil amendments.

Application (dry-applied)
10.0-15.0 lbs/1000 ft²
